Our new hyper flexible working schemes challenge us to keep on replicating our culture in remote environments and to rethink the office concept. We are sure about how important social interaction is, in particular, regarding teamwork and collaboration, since that’s where innovation can flourish.
Considering the above, we have redefined our office concept and have migrated them to a campus experience to promote what we call “purposeful attendance.” What does this mean? We intend to encourage people to come to our 23 offices at a regional level by offering high-added value activities proposals, fostering people’s gatherings: staff meetings, town-halls, after office meetings, training activities, etc. That is to say, we offer a full range of activities to strengthen work and team learning.
We are increasingly aware that there is a correlation between wellbeing and effectiveness in all aspects of our lives. Work is one of them. Thus, we think of wellbeing as something integral, comprising physical and emotional health, social connections and financial wellbeing.
Our proposal pivots around these four axes, including activities, experts’ talks, training sessions, experts’ advising and meetings intended for social connection and fun, because in Mercado Libre we do our best while having fun.
